Sarah Bell started practicing yoga in 1974, has taught yoga since 1990, and believes that yoga can be for every body. She earned her B.A. in 1989 from the University of California, Santa Cruz where she majored in Community Studies and Social Change with the thesis, The Human Potential Movement. She did field study for her thesis at Esalen Institute- a holistic retreat and educational institute that is considered the epicenter of the human potential movement.
Sarah was inspired by her studies of the human potential and began a career devoted to assisting individuals on their paths to optimal well-being through yoga. Sarah took her first yoga teacher training with Kali Ray through TriYoga. Years later she completed a 200 hour training with Devarshi through the Kripalu Institute and currently she is enrolled in a 500 hour training through the Kripalu Institute. Over the past 13 years she has developed the program, a breathe yoga break to share the benefits of yoga in an accessible, brief and effective format.
